i tryed to remove all nivida drivers and reinstall em... but it dont seem to help... i dont hink i changed anything.. it just showed up =(...

im using:
windows xp
Gforce 5600fx with Nivida driver 45.23

you were able to play and now not, i think you oversized your ingame... don't remember the resolution reset (mode something i think) but lower that to 800x600 and you should beable to get back in

If you are not sure how to do that then rename all copies of etconfig.cfg to old-etconfig.cfg and restart the game. That will return you to default settings.

Find all files called etconfig.cfg and look in them (use notepad/wordpad) for seta r_mode x whatever the number in place of x try lowering it by 1

I remember having this happen once or twice in ET, and even in RtCW, a reinstall of the game worked for me (after having backed up files such as configs/maps etc.), although i'm sure there is a smarter, less time consuming solution .

or just start the game in safe mode...default settings to the bone. then fix your config from there if you cant do it the "pro" way :p

you have several options, if its only the etmain folder you could go into your ~/Program Files/Enemy Territory/main/profiles and delete any profile you find in that folder, this will cause you to have to create a new profile when you load up, but i'm pretty sure thats all you'll need to do, don't waste your time reinstalling or rebooting

or if you really feel up to challenge, open up a text editor like textpad, or notepad or wordpad and open up the etconfig.cfg you find under your profile name, once in there if you scroll around you'll find lines labeled "seta r_customheight "xxx" and seta r_customwidth "yyy"", you are gonna want to replace xxx with 600 and yyy with 800, save the file then reload (this is assuming that your GLsubsystem fails to load due to oversizing your screen)

if your ET confinuously reverts back to default setting you are prolly gonna have to create a .bat file, which bacon describes HERE
