Question for the experts

Ok, this is not a complaint or anything, but you know when you get tk'd, there is a little window that pops open and asks you if you want to file a complaint against the player who tk'd you? That used to work on my box, but now when I get tk'd, it no longer appears. Has this been disabled or removed?

If possible I'd like to have it available again, in case I run into a chronically sloppy or intentional team killer. You know the deal, accidental tks are NP, but intentional or real stupid sloppy tks need to be addressed.

cg_complaintPopUp

check that cvar... turns off your complaints... someone may have forcecvared you, or they disabled it on the server you're playing on (admins can disable complaints aswell)

Note that you can still complain if the popup isn't shown.

when in ET press the ` key and a black console will come down on the screen type in
/cg_complaintpopup 1

then press ` again.

i'd recomend a /seta cg_complaintPopUp 1
this makes sure it's written to your profiles .cfg file...
if you want to check what you currently are set to do this:
/cg_complaintPopUp

force cvar changes it at map load only... change it back and it'll be on till the next map load...

and again remember, you can still complain with complaints forced off....

As far as I know, sv_cvar doesn't allow you to change it at all.

sv_cvar gives you a sec with it changeable... forcecvar doesn't protect it... so depending how they enforce it... but if they just disable complaints on the server (not disabling pop-ups) then you can't complain under any cirumstances, if they disabled the popup you still can complain (why anyone would force your popups off are beyond me

Forcing the popups off? Well, some servers (cough cough) are not real friendly to complainers, I guess that may be why.

Great maps though, and some damn good shooters.

yes but you can disable the complaint system, why disable individual's complaints (especially since it may stay and affect other servers)

Since when can you disdable it? I thought you could only disable parts of it (ie arty, mines).
