Mounted MG Sensativity

Post by Etnies` »

Hey, i was wondering if its possible to lower the mounted mg sensativity, I find it to fast and to hard to control, i was told on SD forums that there are scripts, but what about makin a command for it?

I guess it was a design decision to give mounted MG42s a another, fixed sensitivy. And imho it should not be changed.

i think if you want to lower it you should be able to, not like it makes a big difference to gane play.. just conveince.. anyway what are the chances of it becoming a command ?

If it was a designed decision it was a very bad one, because if you have a mouse with high resolution the mg is completely unusable. Anyways I remember someone saying that the mg code is too messed up for someone to fix it...

imo, the best way of implementing it would be to make the cvar a scale of the sensitivity cvar.

EDIT: or just lock it at .75 or whatever is default.

ah yea... well, the only way to change it just now would be to, for example - lower m_pitch / m_yaw (which do affect mg), and then increase sensitivity to compensate.. the problem with that though is that these cvars (m_pitch being the crucial one) are restricted on most servers, and in competition.
