define time for revive text + frag msg's?

is there a way to define how long the messages such as "you were revived by <medicname>" and "you killed <victimname>" stay on screen for?

the reason it so somehow subvert missing out on kill messages after just being revived (for the purpose of moviemaking)

Not to sure if these are the ones, but someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

b_popupFadeTime default "2500"
b_popupStayTime default "2000"

These are client side cvars.

no its cg_centertime ..
but afaik its registered as a haxxor-var.. wich just prooves that someone doesent know what theyre doing....

Yeah, its cheat protected.

I'd like this option too. Its quite anoying when it pops up "You killed X" in a firefight, then you think 'oh good' and stop shooting to find that it was a mine kill :(

We're talking about demotrawling, who cares if it's cheat protected?

As for not getting confused about who you've killed, to me it's pretty evident that when they keel over backwards, it's over.

now were at it.. who should one talk to? ..to get cg_centertime unlocked..? cause it should realy not be necesary..

in RTCW i had it quite low..so it just had a quick flash on screen..you can always later see who u killed in the echo or console.

How is that particular information interesting while playing anyway? Should be a way to turn it off.
