I don't see anything even remotely suspicious there.

LilleBror forgot to mention the fact that at least three other allies were shooting back at the German players, so they're not strictly targeting the doc carrier. He possibly forgot about falloff-damage as well.

The pictures I posted are representative. The demo you linked is from a clan match, so there will be no lightweapons 2. There is some variation with FPS, but it isn't that big. The bottom line is that under normal circumstances, ET does have spread. It is certainly significant in the part of the demo that spoofeh mentioned.

You still haven't clarified if that is the demo are talking about.

I'm a coder. I write code for a living (and, in the case of etpro, for fun). Mortis certainly exaggerates, but I am quite familiar with Q3, ET and ETPro. It may be mystical magic to you, but it isn't to me. Things in software don't happen "somehow" they happen because specific code causes them to happen. The "alien" cvars you allege don't exist. It is that simple.

I see reyalp combing all the big forums, attempting to dispel Wolfy myths where he finds them. He is the Wolfy exorcist, attempting to drive out the foul spirits of b_placebo 1.

P.S. I don't exaggerate that much. There's only been once or twice that I've asked reyal about coding syntax that he hasn't been able to answer off the top of his head. It's kind of scary, actually.
