RESTRICTION: Missing/Corrupted Windows API Function

I get the following error if I switch to Windows in the middle of a game. It won't stop till I quit the game entirely and restart.
I use Vista x64.
And just to make this post a bit more search-engine friendly:

This looks like a PB problem.

You should open a ticket at evenbalance if the problem persists.

try to run the application (et.exe) in win2003 server compatible mode. it worked for me (had the same problem).

I still got this problem. I've tried different compability modes, deleted the pb folder and updated it, to no avail.

I reinstalled ET, but that didn't work either. I've seen others who have the same problem, but I've never seen a possible solution.

i got the same problem at my RTCW atm :/. but i got to agree my instla is quite corrucpted becase off all the .pk3's all over my directory
