the post earlier about the track switch at rail gun reminded me of something that i intended on posting before and forgot...
i could be wrong about this, but i think it takes just as much powerbar to arm a landmine as it does to throw one out there -- not sure if this is intended or not, but i could swear that sometimes when planting mines my power bar actually goes into the negative.
i was wondering what you all thought about it -- if the powerbar "should" drain this much, or if it's just something they over-looked in the quick release of ET _________________ "Common sense isn't very common." |

O_o
Arming landmines doesn't use your power bar at all. _________________ Rain |

I think shes talking about setting mines on railgun near the switch. If you hit the "LOWER" switch button then while the switch is lowering you are unable to plant mines. This only happens while the switch arm is on the way down.
I have had this happen when I hit the switch and drop a mine while the arm is descending. I'll go down to set the mine and it will just disappear which actually wastes 1/2 (lvl 1) your power bar. |

i'll investigate more before posting a refined version of this... i could be wrong about it, i don't remember if i did a lot of testing or not. _________________ "Common sense isn't very common." |
