I have tried, repetedly, to get in as a sniper. I get a Mauser, but, it seems I lack the scope to do some serious killing with. I can almost taste the blood!

Yes.....I think your talking about an unscoped mauser, you get these in "Instagib" servers, just avoid them so you can snipe in peace
