The anticheat database for ET Pro has been updated. You can download it here.
This file must be downloaded and saved as binary, not text. You may need to rightclick-save it from your browser, as netscape or IE may try to convert it to plain text which will corrupt the file.
Alternatively, a zipped version is here.

This is an optional update for admins who want to keep current with the latest cheats. Simply replace the existing etpro_cheats.dat in your etpro folder with this one, and do a map_restart.

I've got a couple of questions regarding this new feature...
Is it possible to have a description of the known cheats?
Is it possible for the serveradmin to add their own tables?
Maybe an online app so that users can upload their own tables? Guess this would greatly improve the up-to-date-ness of the cheatfile.

no. we don't want cheaters to know what we're looking for.RoadKillPuppy wrote:I've got a couple of questions regarding this new feature...

no. to do so would make it easy for serveradmins to setup a cheat server where they could cheat in matches and the opposing team would never know about it.RoadKillPuppy wrote:Is it possible for the serveradmin to add their own tables?
if you get a ^3CHEATER in your logs, you can send us the logs and we can determine if it's a cheat that needs to be added to the database or not.RoadKillPuppy wrote:Maybe an online app so that users can upload their own tables? Guess this would greatly improve the up-to-date-ness of the cheatfile.
