"triggerlag", about a 1/2 sec. delay between the time you click the mouse button and the time you actually fire .

This is the problem i've got while playing Enemy Territory after reinstalling Windows Xp sp1 ...

any idea how this is possible ??

( all drivers are perfectly installed )

Is this a bug for RTCW or ET? If ET, you need to post it here:

Hey you know what, I can report on this exact same problem as well. Deal is this, I am a trickjumper and I started out by using spacebar for my jumps, then i caught on to mouse1 for jump, and I use a toggle now to change mouse1 from jump to attack and back. But the weird thing is, that jumps where you'r standing on a thin railing(think of fueldump depot defences for the railing I mean)or something, and you do a quick CSJ there to jump on something else then I allways fall off before my character actually jumps, and I am experienced enough to know that I do jump on time. When using spacebar I could do this jump 10 outta 10, on mousebutton1 its too late cuz by the time you run forward and jump you just fall off the small railing whereas the spacebar would pick up on the jump on time.

Note we'r not talking seconds here but milliseconds, still something that is very noticeable when you'r on a tight ledge and you really need to jump at the exact moment you press mouse1 instead of 0.1 millisecond later:(:( For many other jumps it doesn't matter that much, still would like to see it fixed though;) I have a keen eye, and when the apparent slower spacebar is faster than the apparent faster mouse1 button then yes Houston we do have a tiny problem.
