ok i found my video card....its a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400

you're not going to get much higher than 60.

nah you don't have to splurge on a 9800 to get really high fps, the best card on the market right now is the 9600XT for price/performance rating, if i was gonna get a new card, i'd be looking in that direction

I was doing some research and i found that low to mid range cards ati has better price/fps. In the upper range cards nVidia has better price/fps. http://www.zer0-clan.com/~g073nks/vidcards.html
green cells = 10% or more better than avg
red cells = 10% or more below avg

imbro... i'm having the same problem. I used to get 250 fps on wolf but now i've done outside and inside game changes and still only get 90 fps. Just 3 days ago i was getting 200-250 fps... so i know its not my vid card.

i have a radeon 9200 vid card. Other than that my computer is very decked out.

Hi guys Ive got a FPS Prob too

GFX : Asus V9950 XT 128mb Geforce FX5900....
CPU AMD ATHlon Xp2200+
Ram 512mb Pc2700 333mhz

ok all my games(Farcry and all the new stuff) are running pretty well only et sucks with about 43FPS i tried a few Com_maxfps but dont get higher than a stable 50fps...... but why ???
my cfg is tweaked well cause my clanmates are pretty good in that and ive learned a much about it. so please dont tell me abot tweaking my cfg...

Is there a bug with newer nvidia drivers and et???!!

cause i think my old gefroce4 mx440 had much better fps in et....

i hope somone can help me soon!

and please dont blame me for my english... THX

its the art of a good config but when you change this, wolf will be ugly and you will be called a 'config-whore' because you want to own instead of enjoy this nice game...

i'm no guru when it comes to cvar tweaks but i switched from nvidia, have had alot of em, gforce(original by gulemont), geforce2 mx 400 4x 64, ti4600 8x 128 but always had friggin driver problems, must have 25 different drivers for it, got me a ati 9800pro 8x 128, no problems since, except in doom3, default com_videoram is 64, set to 128, runs fine in 1280x1024 full blown. ati drivers rock

in wolf, start wolf, open console /com_maxfps ??? close wolf, restart, it will be set instead of latched, i was runnin wolf at 400fps, but with testing, at 125 ya fun faster and can jump as high as being set at 76
