What am I doing wrong? (semiadmin)

Post by Wolf|Hans »

I can get the semi admin to work, the problem is I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the commands that work on the client to function.

example, I can get the \sa map_restart to work

but when I try \sa status to get the client # for a clientkick nothing happens.

here is the line I added to my server.cfg, can some one tell me what I am doing wrong or at least tell me how I go about getting client #'s as a semi admin so I can use the client commands like mute/kick?

The thing is, I assume the purpose of the /sa system is so you don't have to hand out full rcon to all your admins, which is a great idea.

All I want to do is enable a few of our guys to do the below listed admin functions so if I'm going about this wrong, any help would be great.

thanks in advance.

/sa ref mute (id)

but I think you have to have 'ref' as one of the commands for it to work. You need to have the client ID. /players will do it.
Success is only gained through failure.
