@pH*Deus: the use of "European" for the CB config is justified by the simple fact that the config is used by all big Euro competitions, and thus in almost every scrim as well. Futhermore the use of 1 particular league name would have caused troubles, as the other participating leagues would not have liked it.

one thing to note... the argument is against clanbase using the setting... if a vast majority are against it, i'm sure they won't do it, as most people will drop out of their league... and what fun is a league with 2-3 clans in it?

Afraid to disagree there, they banned the XP system because a few "top" clans asked for it, not because the majority of the clans wanted it out.

We did some testruns with wolfrof 1 and yes it's something that favours the very good aimers so I'm afraid under pressure of Europe's top clans, it might make it into the official configs.

The problem as I see it is that wolfrof 1 totally takes away the fun because you take people down or are taken down in a few milliseconds... It's all about getting the first shot in. He who does that, is 90% sure to come out on top.

My fear is that it migth highten the treshold for people to step into the competitive scene.

Time to start tweaking the rates of fire and delays of all the other weapons to regain the balance in time for the final.

If it's an option, it will be used and you know it.

errr try going onto clanbase website look at ladders and u see what their previous changes have done Wink

and no they dont think about the players Confused

and well ppl saying that wolfrof suits better aimers, i think thats aload of bs because imo the ppl with best aim is those that can track well not those with super lightning reactions but cant aim for shit.

ps. i dont know why ppl keep shouting on about changes to xp system the only ppl that was moaning was ppl who play campaigns as clanwars, what the etpro team dont seem to understand from what i can see is that the ppl who r actually moaning about wolfrof r members of competitive/very active et clans (which afaik was what etpro was developed for). BAYONET FEATURE IMO

This isn't the most pressing of bugs but I'd appreciate it if the autoexec_ order could be locked in place. When you join a server fresh it's fine - map, team, class. But when the map changes, team then class get executed, and then map. This doesn't make a big difference to most spawn point selection scripts but it does have an impact on things like spawn timers. Before you omg it's a competition mod me, we ran a 3 map grand final last season and given the overwhelming popularity probably will again, so it'd be nice if something so simple could just be addressed.

That's your definition of good aim. You'd have nothing to worry about people who "cant aim for shit" if that really was the case.

Afaik it was members of the competetive community that requested the option in the first place, and you can't really expect the ETPro team to keep track of who's "very active" and who's not. The fact that they apparently should stop listening to some of the leagues (Clanbase in particular) because they can't be trusted to represent the community doesn't make things easier either.

Nice work!

We are hosting Nodisk/ET and have been running ET2.60 with ETPro for some time.

The only ones complaining are the clanplayers that donīt like the newer version. They say the hitboxes are too big.

Server upgraded today to 3.1.14, i donīt think that it will be any problems
