Sweet sweet sweet . Happyfunbani deserves a !
I upgraded both our servers:
Judgement Day for campaign
Kindergarten for stopwatch
Plus, to test some stuff, we're now imposing the following settings on our server:
Code: | command "sv_cvar rate IN 7000 25000"
command "sv_cvar snaps EQ 20"
command "sv_cvar cl_packetdup GE 1"
command "sv_cvar cl_maxpackets GE 60"
command "sv_cvar cl_timenudge EQ 0"
|
Purely for testing of course. _________________ Our servers now run on 64 bit steroids. Point your ET to:

The TI server just d/l'd the latest 3.2.1 on my box. But now when I join the server, I get a PB kick for MD5Tool mismatch: etpro/ui_mp_x86.dll .
How do I fix this? Thanks. |

Maybe you should try posting in the Terminal Insanity forums at www.terminal-insanity.com
This is a config problem and not an etpro problem. I thought I had fixed it, but I guess loading the config was not enough. I just restarted the server so you should be able to connect just fine. _________________ -------------------------------------

Yo LO, I'd be happy to post the question on the TI forum, if you talk z1g into reinstating my posting privilidges.
I'd also like to respond to the invite to ventrilio, but can't at the moment, for the above mentioned reason. |

Forcing maxpackets >= 60 and packetdup on isn't kind on those with low bandwidth. _________________ Some people play tennis, I erode the human soul. |

I know. Hence "testing" to see what gives.
The goal is to assess the impact of these settings and counter the frequently heard "netlamer" argument. _________________ Our servers now run on 64 bit steroids. Point your ET to:
