Dune the movie sucked in my opinion. Read the book. In fact, read all of the original Dune series by Frank Herbert. Then, read the series by his son, Brian Herbert. You will find that the only Dune movie that came close to the book was the Sci-Fi channel Dune... And I didn't really like that one either. X_X I am weird.
Ok, your right. I hate Dune now and The Matrix is my favorite movie.

And yes, the books are way better, but that is the case with almost all adapted movies.
I am a loser that can't handle commitment.

I cant believe no one listed any Kurosawa films... One of my favourites being Yojimbo. Still Krubrick is the man... A Clockwork Orange, Dr. Strangelove, The Shining, and I could go on. Nadja is badass for vampire movies and Fellini is a good bet if you like that artsy stuff. Also, what about Akira or Nightmare Before Christmas? There are a good ammount of movies missing from this list, too many for me to write down. But if I had to pick one movie that I can watch no matter what mood I'm in and still enjoy it is....

Yeah, Im sure your talking about the Al Pachino remake. But, have you ever seen the original? Its in black in white and has a great comic releif. The character named Dope is the best.
