THE FACE IS AWESOME! Reminds me of Wolfenstein 3D. <3 Wolf 3D. I loved to make fun maps for that... Did you know that in Wolf 3D v1.1, if you placed a dead soldier on the ground, then placed a wall on him, you could walk through the wall? Much fun.

It's not that hard to kill with an SMG, just takes time to get used to it. The maps load just as fast as ever. Give it a chance, the XP system is so fricken cool.

Yeah, well, my XP system is the reason why it takes a while to load.

For those of you who don't know, memory access is slower in WinXP with SP1 installed. Personally, I like the RTCW hud set up better, and I really can't comment on the SMG's, thanks to the fact that I can't even hit right with a knife because of the lag.

i like ET a lot, though it is very buggy at the moment.

landmines are noob magnets for some reason, more tk's than anything else...

the game totally emphasizes weapon control for accuracy, so crouching and going prone help a lot, otherwise its spray-n-pray especially with thompson.

et feels very different, like a cross between rtcw and operation flashpoint.

the experience system in campaign mode is interesting, but medics can become godlike too easily when they rank up... they should tone it down a bit.

mounted mg42's are evil mofos now  portable mg42 jumps all over like a wild horse and i cant seem to hit anything with it

i thought the voices sucked at first, but they kind of grow on you.

lots of stuff for engineers to do now, which is cool.

et needs deployable spawnpoints though

Why write a mod for a beta test?

Well, even though they are n00bs, let's not treat them too harshly. I mean, it is not like there is a flag sticking out of the ground warning that a land mine is there. Oh wait. There is.

I guess they are trying to make the game seem slower. Have a more strategic feeling to it. Set up ambushes and whatnot.

OFP is a great game. Although in OFP, you cannot really go solo like you can in Wolf. One bullet is all it takes in OFP... But, yeah. By slowing down weapon fire, they have made it so you have to be strategic about what you do. But they also decreased the damage somewhat... Headshots are crap now... But they can be good things in a fire fight. In close quarters combat in Wolf, you could miss the person with a few bullets and it wouldn't matter that much because you were shooting so many already.

Good. I deserve some recognition in the good Medic work I do. What better then to make me "Uber Powerful L33T Medic Boco". =)

Bani, go prone with the Mobile MG42 and hit the Alternative Fire key. You will place down your bipod and become INSANELY accurate... for a high speed weapon like the MG42.

yes, i know about the bipod. but seems to me it should be a little more accurate when crouched or prone, but it's still wildly inaccurate, almost as if there's no difference at all vs running or prone with mg42.

oh well, these things can be fixed in a mod :P

Enemy territory is extremely easy for me, especially when I'm on the axis. I have been called cheater left and right for my accuracy. I mean, I dont even know how to cheat on games. But it is extremely fun! :D

nUbee, me too, but on the flip-side I get killed really easy in some scenarios for reasons I can't figure out.

I sware to god the thompson is way stronger close up now, but people are telling me they made mp40s and thompsons the same!

nUbee did you notice headshots got 10 times easier all of a sudden?
