Lieutenants and sniper rifle

Simple question, are there any circumstances where a lieutenant can use a scoped sniper rifle ?

can a LT pick up weapons like a medic can?...i know I have picked up a mauser while medic....I don't know if lt can pick up weapons as well.

I have been playing in Oldcrows32 Goldrush...and as an LT I have picked up all the different weapons.Sometimes Ill spawn as soilder drop the weapon i want ,kill myself then respawn as LT and pick up the weapon.

I was pretty sure you could do it as an LT I do it all the time
as med.

all three classes, i like being total demolitions an engineer with panzer but engineer with venom is good too

Yeah, you can do it. I did it as an LT. i picked up a Panzerfaust. People asked me if i was a cheater.
