Solid items.

Okay, in the Oldcrows servers, The Decoys and Spawn Points aren't solid.. (For the slow people it means you can walk through them thingies like they was AIR! Wooooow..)

I was thinking maybe Bani could make them solid.. So you'd have to JUMP onto the Spawn Points or shoot them, and shoot the Decoys to get passed them.


It's not a big deal, just a tiny suggestion... Even though it probably can't be done.

Wouldn't it get like really annoying? Running into stuff sucks in instagib.

actually that would make it more challenging..

you wouldnt be able to charge into the FDA and fly thru the decoys.. it would make you have to shoot them to get past..

any added "challenge" to instagib would be nice

not really. at most a 1kb pk3 for a new shader that has surfaceparm playerclip.

anyway why nut use a exisiting shader that is solid

the dont forgot they would ez be useable for wall jumps or stuff is you make a stairs of them

But to my knowledge you cannot make a decoy crouch, so if you wanted to use it for a walljump you would need somebody to boost you on it... But then that is wasteful because the other person could easily just boost you up...

Hmm... Then decoy's might have to be set to standing-only to prevent exploits.

But you can jump over spawn points..



How about this..

Spawn Points, and Crouching Decoys, You can jump over, or shoot.

And standing decoys, you have to shoot.


And it's GOT to be atleast TWO shots. Because then it's just like a NORMAL Decoy or Spawnpoint.

Maybe you can do /special 2 for solids?

I think it should stick to one shot because the bullet wouldn't go THROUGH the decoy like it does now... 1 shot to destroy it and not having the bullet go through it is enough.

when decoys stopped bullets, players were using them as shields in instagib, making it completely impossible to kill the cow.

But no one uses cows anymore. We've passed cowing months ago. Well... The GOOD players.
