Rcon muting

Post by Izrafiil »

Hi all. Is there a way to mute/unmute via rcon? I've searched high and low and can't find anything on this. Thanks!

Well, you're supposed to be able to use several referee commands from the server console as well, so e.g. rcon ref mute <#> is what you're after... Unfortunately, that's broken in vanilla ET. It's fixed in the ET Pro release that's just around the corner, though...

You can currently force a vote to mute a client to pass immediately with the "passvote" command, though, if that's any help.

Thanks Rain. For some reason I can't get the passvote option to work either. Whats the correct syntax for that? /rcon passvote ?
