Possible to fix "Server disconnected for unknown reason

Since the first 1.01 server patch, the disconnect message function is broken. Whereas clients getting disconnected from an unpatched server get to see the reason for that (i.e kicked, banned, inactivity, etc.), the patched servers only yield the irritating "Server disconnected for unknown reason".

Unfortunately, with the 1.02 patch, this bug is still with us. Because of that, people who get disconnected from the server don't have a clue as to why they were kicked. I think it's ugly.

I'm wondering if this one could be fixed in ET Pro... Is it even possible or is this a bug deep within the network code, out of reach for server mods?

its a bug in the engine code, we cant do anything about it.

Hmmm, I had a feeling that would be the case... I guess it's back to bugging Activision to release yet another patch then.

yeah bani deos all his hard work to make a bugfree ET but i think this is more the job of activision
