Does anybody use windows 2000 pro and if so how does wolfenstein perform on win 2000 platform?

windows 2k and xp are basically the same and it runs well on both...

i had 2000pro, and now i have xp
it runs way better on xp

seen it run on both, runs better on my win2k. I suppose it would depend more on the computer rather than the OS.

alot more security holes in win2k though compared to the others.with the exception of nt 4.0 to.

let me tell you something

on Windows 2000, i've heard TONS AND TONS of people say that they have trouble with playing games.

BUT

on Windows XP, only a few people do

I have Windows XP and it works very good.

I'd suggest Windows XP to anyone who is looking for a new windows computer

yes this is true win2k has more of a compatability problem playing games.it's meant for server and office purposes more than that stuff.

with intels intergrated crap graphics, you get 32 mb on xp, but on older os's you get 11-16
which brings up another question,
some games i have say i have 32 mb and others say i have 64, does any one know if i can make all my games use 64 mb

nope i saw a compatabilty list it doesn't work with win2k period along with a handful of other games.alot work on win2k but not as much compared to the other os's by a land slide.

also to conclude this win2k was never made for playing games even microsoft admitted that that's why they made compatability updates it fixes it for some games but not all of the incompatiable ones.
