mines disabler

Post by Radeon9.8kpunk »

everyone knows when you step on a mine and stay on it, it doesnt exploed, so i suggest that if you got stuck on one and werent an engineer you could drop ammo packs, health or even your gun to not let it go off, and if someone picked the weight up it explodes, if the health or ammo, or gun disappers from being around to long the mine would go back to being burried

it could be bait for a medic low on ammo,
to solve the diappaering to quickly prob, you could make items holding down mines stay aslong as the mine stays

It would have to make the click-hiss sound again when someone retriggered it or it'd be unfair...

Perhaps you could use your knife, but after several seconds the knife would slip out and the mine would blow, taking your knife with it. Having it calculate the path of the knife and animating it once the mine goes off would be nifty, though that'd probably be a BayonET feature, assuming it doesn't use too many resources.
