ET Pro 3.1.12 Public Beta Release

A public beta test of ET Pro 3.1.12 is now released.

This version is for ET 2.60 only!

Bug / cheat fixes:
cg_autoaction was broken for screenshots
opentimerinput doesnt get mouse focus
enemy wounded could block team wounded for revive
ref surrender menu callvoted by mistake
cg_teamchatsonly didnt ignore public chats
shuffleteamsxp_norestart was missing from vote menu
fireteam objective icon was misaligned slightly
cl_language could cause garbage translations
inviteall tried to invite players already on a fireteam
etpro unlagged accuracy increased
all weapon rof / overheat are now completely fps independent
b_fallingbugfix 1 no longer ignores fake brushes
fireteam objective icon now obeys b_fireteamAlpha
oasis script fixed (remove end of round delay after destroying both guns)
location names didn't reset color in chats
wounded covops could steal uniforms if close enough
bloodtrail crash/hang fixed
corpses could be "shot" after players tapped out
cg_teamchatsonly incorrectly filtered fireteam chats

Known bugs:

I have a couple of questions:
etpro unlagged accuracy increased
Does that have a noticeable effect? Could you explain just a bit what was wrong before?
all weapon rof / overheat are now completely fps independent
Does that include the apparently buggy behaviour of the (displayed) spread? I'm referring to this thread. Same question as above, will one notice that change when playing/what happened before fixing it?
Anti-recoil and centerview scripts defeated

hitsounds are now generated for hitscan weapons only

b_wolfrof x -
0 = ET Standard SMG Rate of fire (default
1 = RTCW Standard SMG Rate of fire

b_shrug x -
0 = Disable /shrug (default)
1 = Enable /shrug

b_distancefalloff x -
0 = Disable distance damage falloff for bullet weapons
1 = Enable distance damage falloff for bullet weapons (default)
Why have you not included those new features (and the others) in this thread? ;) I guess many people will think that it's great to have them.

Wow! Thank you bani and the rest of the ETPro team! There's lot's of great stuff in this version. Excellent fixes and nice new features, too. I really hope the leagues make the move to the 2.60 patch as soon as the next "official" ETPro is released, so we can make use of all this!

new .zip format ?

uzip under midnight commnder never had problems with your .zip files
(included 3.1.9) but the 3.1.12 is shown as "empty"

maybe only my problem

That wasn't a bug, that was a feature.
E.g. dancing (and eventually get killed) on downed enemies to prevent enemy medics from reviving them.

One little question, 2.6 had the bug that for vote to kick some random player would sometimes be kicked, is that also in etpro?

well im glad this "feature" is fixed because it was very annoying :)

Oh Dear GOD NO!!! I can't imagine Bani's added that without someone making a case for it.

Oh well, if b_wolfrof 1 is ever added to the European Config that's my ET career over. :cry:

The European Config sux anyways <= my personal opinion
I decline playing matches with it!
How the * do the take the right to call this config "European" ?

personally i have set b_wolfrof to 1 on poohunter.de:27972 to give it some intensive testing before i will decide wheter i like it or not.
