ET Pro 3.0.0 test bugfix 21 released

The test bugfix release version 21 for 3.0.0 is now available

Contains important bugfixes and exploit fixes.

Unless critical bugs are reported, this will likely become 3.0.1.

Please test it and post your feedback (good or bad) in this thread.

Ran through it today with a clan member.
Again I can find no problems.
But I do still miss the dynamite icon at the backdoor of battery.
Even though I can blow it up.
Demo playback of demos record with this bugfix21 and playback of a 2.0.7 demo all worked fine. The demos did seem to load sluggish but when they finaly got there there were no problems.

Question about the headshot only option

When using headshot in my case b_headshot 3
I find that haevay weapons like panzer and mg42 do not kill on headshot.
Yet they fire bullets like mp40 why do they not kill!

The panzer and MG42 never score headshots in normal play. We could possibly change that behavior when headshot mode is enabled.

they have different hitboxes o_0 no idea why, i'd like to think you could land a headshot with a knife ;/

edit: forgot to add, rain, if you make it change during headshot mode, pls make it so that you can enable/disable this... i like playing with headshot mode and explosions not working... if they worked and you were really trying to play, it would turn it into a nade war... that's teh l0ze just something to think about.

panzers shouldn't hit head in headshot only, common standard
mg42 should imho

for a pf it doesnt matter where you hit your gibbed anyway

You cannot headshot with a knife. You can backstab. Backstab only could be made an option. In the recent version of my headshot mod, I left all knife damage on by default (with the option to turn it off). The idea being that if you can't headshot them before they knife you, you deserve what you get. :D

With the mg42 (in normal ET) it doesn't matter if you hit the head or not, because it does the same damage. So if you are using headshot as a training mod, there is little point in making it do headshots. You should not be training yourself to aim for the head witht the MG. If you are using an MG, you want to aim for the center of the body. The venom in RTCW was the same.

I have been using this easy script for a long time, but it doesn´t works on etpro3.0. I can see only the weapon stats, so i think it might be a non-important-bug

Ckeck it:

// Scores

bind ALT "vstr statsmode"
set statsmode "vstr stats1m"
set stats1m "+topshots;+stats;set statsmode vstr stats2m"
set stats2m "-topshots;-stats;set statsmode vstr stats1m"

etpro 3 prevents you from showing both stats at the same time, because when the stats displays were large, the game would crash due to an engine bug. :?

its realy hard to head stab try it out on some1 on the street

its is realy hard since there is a big skull where you got to get tru

the only good places for a head stab would be in the eye bals or mounth
