ET Pro 3.0.0 test bugfix 23 released

The test bugfix release version 23 for 3.0.0 is now available

Unless critical bugs are reported, this will likely become 3.0.1.

Please test it and post your feedback (good or bad) in this thread.

One problem with fix 23 so far. Why is it, if a player is running near you at the spawn the screen starts shaking?
Everything else seem to work fine for me.

i have this since AFTER 2.0.7

at spawn and if running 2 ppl near at 1 time

(at spawn nearly almost; cause chance to get a 2. ppl is much higher :) )

feels like "hitboxes" hit each other.

This bug was performed under an empty ETPro server (your test server to be exact): when a player connects to a server, chooses a team, and waits for deployment (say 30 sec til), the player can use a full-deployment exploit by switching to the other team and switching back. I was able to do this with ETPro's and etmain's spawn bind.

I too have noticed this. However, it's not an issue for matches - because leagues are smart enough to disable team swapping, which nips it in the bud ;).

I don't know if I have missed some information but I updated to the new testversion 23 directly from original 3.0.0 version, and starting the server works fine, but when trying to do config clanwar (with the config file that worked in 3.0.0) in 3.0.0 rel. 23 all I get is this :

etpro: init command sv_cvar********************
ERROR: Q_strncpyz: NULL src
********************
----- Server Shutdown -----
Sending heartbeat to etmaster.idsoftware.com
==== ShutdownGame ====


and then the server will just hang there until the watchdog triggers and restarts it.

Nevermind, I think I've found the problem. It should be fixed in the next release.
