Has work begun?

Post by Amish Gigolo »

I know work on ETTV was scheduled to start after 3.0.1 was released, but with these current batches of bugfixes for 3.0.1 etc, I was curious if the team has even started development yet on ETTV?

Not asking for a release date, or certain features, just curious if work has been started yet  Or if it has been pushed back due to the testfixes.

Bani's been tossing some code together, but I doubt there'll even be a private alpha any time soon.

Thats a shame, cos in many regards ETTV is more important than getting bugfixes done.

Well, it all depends on how bad the bugs are. If they're small things, then yes, they can wait, but if they cause large problems, it might just be better for the bugs to get fixed first.

I say BayonET is more important. We must purge the earth of the demonic horror that is shrub.

i have a really great idea....how about we say testbugfix 5 is fine, and the whole etpro team can start banging out ettv. if et is announced for qcon, quallies will be starting soon, and people will want to watch. there hasnt been any announcements as to what games are going to be at quakecon, but of course we're all rooting for ET to be there. so lets give bani a break, and let him and the etpro team get some work done, huh?
