The lack of recoil on the unscoped mauser has been bothering me for a while. I'm thinking of adding recoil to it, which would affect instagib as well as normal play.

Basically it would make it harder to use the instagib rifle to get a bunch of perfect kills in a row, which should tone down instagib mode so its not so frustrating.

bani, i personally dont like the idea of putting recoil on the unscoped mauser...maybe just for instagib but if there is more than one player in normal and your running around with a mauser close range your dead. But if you DO add recoil for normal (please don't Sad ) could you atleast maybe make it a bit more accurate?

EDIT
------

Damn the votes are against me Crying or Very sad

Maybe it should be an option... Maybe like the g_accuratemauser 0/1
g_mauserrecoil 0 - 100 sort of thing. But YES it does need a little bit of recoil, and the shotgun is fine unless you shoot 3-5 times without looking back down a little bit. Big gun

I don't know about that... maybe for the instagib rifle... but when you have a scope just use it if you want to be more acurate. When you don't, then yes I could deal with having it more acurate.

Ariem, i thought the instagib rifle didn't have spread....guess I could be wrong. Im going to be honest, only reason I wanted accuracy is because that would make the mauser zoom exploit extremely deadly Twisted Evil , thats also the reason I didn't want recoil. Maybe bani could look into fixing this bug too?

Flip on your scope with mauser, hold down the zoom button and WHILE its zooming un-scope. You will be back to un-scoped mauser but your still zoomed, basicaly its a sniper rifle with no sight limitation, no recoil, and full zoom. Only thing is it is in-accurate. I don't know what is possible and what isn't but maybe you can make banimod make sure that when they un-scope their view returns to normal.
