widescreen (besides 856x480)

can it be done? I'm guessing no from what I tried (different r_mode's, r_customwidth/customheight, other junk). in particular I'm looking for 16:10 (1680x1050), the native res of my dell fpw. thx.

i think you already said the answer, you can set any resolution (that your grfx card supports fullscreen or really any resolution windowed) using the variables you described.

for example: if I want to see whats going on on ettv while broadcasting, i'm using a little 320*240 pixel window ...

ok yeah parts of the game (menus) still have a stretched appearance but the gameplay itself seems correct.

yeh u cant prevent it from straeching the entire game is based off 480 * 640 i though :roll:
