ETTV B9 errors on FreeBSD

hiya,

Got B9 installed on my FreeBSD box but it gets the following error.

The other facts that may help are that there are already 2 ET servers running on this box - ports 27960 and 27961. The plan for the ETTV server is to go on 27962 so we can record our scrims and play them back for training purposes.

I know this isnt an idea setup, but it should work tbh.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

is that ip you're trying to bind available on that machine?

--> ifconfig to check (if that exists on bsd, i have no idea)

yeah 82.136.37.140 is the IP of the box itself, so yes its there to be bound :P

the ports are also available (well, except 27961/1)

FreeBSD doesn't support IP_RECVERR.. There is no workaround at this time, but we can make it ignore the failure probably.

If ever :(
Our servers now run on 64 bit steroids. Point your ET to:
- Forgotten Ground StopWatch Server with occasional wolfrof 1
- Fraggle Rock ETPub Server - Mix up ET/UT & Duke Nukem

wait... i've just had a thought!

I remember i used to have ETTV b4 or something running on the server (this was only about 8 months back). Do links to the old versions of ETTV still exist? I can work my way through them on the offchance one might work.

I'm not going to be broadcasting competitions, this is only for clan training purposes (Ie record/playback will be on the same version) so this should work

If only someone has the old versions :x

*update*

b8 works just fine, although for some reason you get higher pings on the master when its running ettv.x86 than etded :o (Pings 40ms above what they normally are).

Is this a known bug or is it just a reporting error somehow?

b8s ping calculation was borked so b9 fixed that.
