B8 on FreeBSD problem - configuration error?

Post by goatherder »

Hiya,

I'm having some teething troubles :x

I've got my master server set up running on ettv.x86 thus:
//ETTV Settings
set ettv_sv_maxslaves "1"
set ettv_password "password"
set g_password "war"
set b_ettv_flags "3"
ETmain maps number 21, other files 5
ETpro is updated to 3.2.5

The ettv server (slave) is also obviously running on ettv.x86, has EXACTLY the same files in etmain and etpro, but even with a simple

"tv connect ip.ip.ip:port password war"

I get the following error:
Need paks: etpro/etpro-3_2_5.pk3

Missing paks: etpro/etpro-3_2_5.pk3

Disconnected from 82.136.37.140:27961

But its there :( What am i doing wrong?

Check your permissions and fs_homepath / fs_basepath settings.
Our servers now run on 64 bit steroids. Point your ET to:
- Forgotten Ground StopWatch Server with occasional wolfrof 1
- Fraggle Rock ETPub Server - Mix up ET/UT & Duke Nukem

+ set fs_homepath in the command line seemed to do the trick :)

Thanks Deej :D
