Is it possible to display an alternate message to the clients, instead of the "incorrect exe version" error they get when they have ET v2.60 instead of ET v2.60b?

For example, where to get the new update.

Lots of sites promote the new ETPro v3.2.6 version, but NO-ONE is promoting the ET v2.60b version. And this will hold back server-admins to upgrade.

Anyone?

HKF is advertising the patch selector in game. We will try to move to the new version in a week.

I'm chasing another side topic as I am wont to do, but if that direct input were to be implemented in the same way as Q3, you don't want it. Well, unless you prefer playing at a decided disadvantage due to input lag.

hello, guyz i need some help pliz, my hosting uploaded me the newest etpro version 3.2.6 final, but when i connect i get the incorrect et.exe version, what to do ?

ive read the upper posts, but i still dunno Sad

just install 2.60b patch ? or do i have to reinstall all ?
all just install over et ?

where should i put the enemy territoty 2.60b folder ?

disregarding the fact that you indeed need some help, in your case you need to install 2.60b patch. no need for additional folders.
You are free to use a version changer, so you can easily choose between 2.60 and 2.60b, but since 3.2.6 is official, there will be no more 2.60 needed any longer soon

The patch is good for those players participating in the current TWL season. If we could get TWL to immediately move to 3.2.6, there would be no need for 2.60.
