Hi guys I am sure this information is on here somewhere but I just can't seem to find it.
I would like to make some maps different from others with what is enabled etc.
Some examples:
On Caen I would like to make artillery and airstrikes 30 seconds.
On Cluedo I would like to disable the flamethrower.
On Sniper maps I would like to disable everything apart from sniper rifles.
etc etc.....
I would like to do this without affecting how all the other maps run.
Is it possible to give me a link to somewhere explaining how I go about achieving this.
Many Thanks
Granny
P.S I'm not sure if the title of the thread is correct, that's all I know it as from doing a different mod. |

OK I am sorry about this, but I can't see anything about map.cfg in either of those links.
I don't want to be one of those that goes on about other mods, but in noquarter it is called map.cfg.
Perhaps it is called something else here.
A link on exactly what it is I have to look for (Whatever that is) would be very much appreciated.
Cheers

Map specific settings in ETPro are best performed through .config files. The wiki explanation is here.
Again, you are welcome to have a look at my old .config file for my public server, which had lots of map specific tinkering about. Find it here. Scroll down to the end to see the map specific settings.
I think Luk4ward gave the link to the Jolt guide by DG in the other thread. Dont be fooled by its age, the overwhelming majority of it still applies and I would say it still stands as the best guide to running an ETPro server. The wolfwiki is also comprehensive, but that's a reference tool rather than a flowing document like the Jolt guide. _________________ GhosT:McSteve

All the links work for me. Regardless, if you look at the Jolt guide under "ETPro quick server guide", you will see some .config file examples with map specific settings in. _________________ GhosT:McSteve
