I like the "You are an Idiot" one. Not for newbies, but for the people who deserve it - blockers, rushers, etc.
Be seeing you!

SOUND PACK

Post by Whammo! »

I am a recording engineer with several sound effects libraries.

I can make all the sounds you need, we just need to decide which sounds we definitely want and I'll get to work.

I will only develop SFX that Bani approves so don't email me.

My signature is "yag si yennek"

yag is my dogs name.

si is yes in spanish

yennek- pronounce "yen-ick" is not only my other dogs name, but it is a street in russia. i saw it on the news once, and i thought it was funny...

Now, what is wrong with that?

How about some more sounds from single player? I found a few that seemed pretty appropriate, such as (all in sp_pak1.pk3):

axis0_bathed_in_2_weeks.wav "I just hope we get some hot water soon, I haven't bathed in over two weeks."
axis23_move_fools.wav "Move you fools! Schnell! Schnell!" (much better sounding version of v33)
axis23_protect.wav "Protect ze gold! Kill ze intruder!" (good for goldrush)
guard_look_for_crackers.wav "I don't know, look for some crackers? heh heh".
klugg_hopeless.wav "*sigh*, arg, zis is hopeless!" (y'know, when you're on a team full of people who don't know what they are doing)

Just a consideration.

Actually, it reminds me of the ox moo from Oregon Trail II. Except that the one from the game is better.

i might do that  ... what kind of sound format does it need to be?

More like a cow that has a ripped vocal cord and a mouth full of cotton who got castarated with rusty shears.
