hehe maybe you are connecting to serwer with etpro 3.2.6 with newest patch 2.60b and you didnt update your client version to 2.60b :) i've got the same error :) This will popup a "Wrong ET.exe version" message. But it might happen if your client is 2.60b and you try to connect to an etpro...

since this is included in ETPro you might not want to use it!

unfortunately not.
depending on what server you want to connect to, you have to decide which patch you use before you connect.

I suggest playing on 3.2.6 servers only unless you need to stick to older ones (League rules i.e.)

etpro < 3.2.6 needs 2.60.exe, independent from what et version server uses.
i have 2 simple batch files that copy either 2.60.exe or 2.60b.exe depending what i need

disregarding the fact that you indeed need some help, in your case you need to install 2.60b patch. no need for additional folders.
You are free to use a version changer, so you can easily choose between 2.60 and 2.60b, but since 3.2.6 is official, there will be no more 2.60 needed any longer soon
