heheh
well reyalp beat me to it, but "Proning was not designed for use in close-range SMG duels. " This is just the most unsupported comment I have heard made. Where is proof of that? Is it in the manual? Have you talked to the designers? I posit that you have zero proof, and am anxiously awaiti...

Prone, "l33t" aimers, verticle aim, and m_pitch li
Prone: I fail to see it as being so great. When people prone I often get headshots on them and kill them, and I am not the greatest aimer in ET. AIM: Ok, here is this aim thing again, let me restate my central thesis about aim in ET: Aiming in ET is simplistic, and far from "l33t". Not to ...

Sniper and prone
Man, leave prone the way it is. I utterly fail to see how its an exploit, or even really effective that often. A few whiners shouldnt remove a feature of the game thats always been there. Sniper, please no. If I wanted to be sniped, I would go play COD, which sits in its box on the floor for just th...

proning
Heh, why all the hate? Proning is just a tactic, and I think its a cool one. I fail to see why people dislike proners, I find it very effective at times in medium range battles where slopes are involved I can run out of site, then prone on the slope, he runs up near the slope, can obviously see ther...

seeing mortars
I see mortars soming in, u have like a split second to react, it would be possible to prone before hiting if your prone key is handy. It is NOT possible to evade, there is no time. Also even if you miss prone the first time, the mortars are often fired in groups of two. Yeah a whistling sound would ...

Prone proprosal
Heh, I have always thought it would be cool if like a nade or mortar was coming and one went prone, it should like take 1/3rd of the damage off, or make the damage radius one half or something. Kinda would be realistic, and add another tactical element to the game, like if one saw a mortar coming in...
