To be perfectly honest, you should probably stick with ETPub. I can't believe I'm saying this, since I've hated nearly every ETPub server I've tried (due to settings I didn't enjoy), but it really is the better pub mod at this point. It's got more pub-oriented features, such as those you mentioned, ...

Command Flood Kick Woes
I wish the "follow" command was exempt from the new b_floodKickBurst/Rate/Time restrictions. As you know, if you're speccing a match where both teams are speclocked, but you've been invited to spec one team, and that team are all dead, you have to watch a black screen and click MOUSE1 unti...

It's what fusen's basing his defence on =))) 13345 (@fusen) from a UK lawyer on a forum I visit If it actually gets to the point that he needs a defense, I'll do a backflip. Note that I have an ever-expanding waistline, due to an incurable love for high-calorie microbrews, making a backflip nearly ...

Gibbing Bug
I searched but found no mention of this. Sorry if it's already known. Bug: If the first shot you fire from a given weapon (I tested SMGs & pistols) is to gib a body, it counts as two shots fired. Subsequent shots in that gibbing are treated as expected: neither shots nor hits. A minor bug, but t...

Re: Vsync
Vsync, by it's very nature, does indeed cause input delay. This delay will be less at higher framerates.

Why keep a secret if it has no value? On an EIDE setup, the ETPro GUID appears to be based on the first enabled HDD on the ribbon (i.e. the slave drive, if present and enabled in Windows, will determine the GUID). I also remember my GUID changing on the same HW during the course of reinstalling WinX...

Re: What exactly are these graphics CVARs?
I understand that higher values give prettier graphics--I can see that while testing--but could someone please tell me more specifically what these CVARs do? How do they utilize the GPU and the game engine? r_colorbits: General color depth, I guess. 16 = 65K colors, 32 = 16.7M colors. r_depthbits: ...
