Yo, I tryed to launch servers with +fs_basepath and +fs_homepath. It works perfectly fine; but i have a little problem: The ET source is in the fs_basepath, i made a copy of specific maps and etpro module in the fs_homepath directory. But, for the etpro configs file, something seems really strange. ...

It's really bad we don't have any news from ettv. Even ettv.org which was totally out to date is now down for 'upgrade'. Do someone knows something like a date for next beta-release. And to know if we will have two binaries (2.56/2.60).

i guess that admins, like me, keep them public serveur (with etpub mod) in 2.56; waiting for huge wave of update to 2.60

btw, i can't understand people who ask you again and again what is the IP of your server, arguing that it's easier to learn than an host like et.myclan.net :)

I think that's totally wrong :)
I'm quite sure the second slave ate 500+ RAM (900 MB ?!) last CB match. I canno't really confirm that, but I think that streaming .tv_83 file need memory. I'll bench next match with 100+ viewers. But thanks for the minimum value on master.

etpub, as shrub, is a server-side mod: The sounds it uses are ones that are included in the pak0.pk3 file so it does not require additonal file downloads to use this mod. It's just me who made a little .pk3 using the hitsounds of etpro. Maybe that users who like etpro may like also those sounds on b...

The idea is not to replace etpro, but to replace shrub. We do provide etpro and shrub servers, and since this morning, all players agrees with this new mod (etpub) ;)

The question is more about legality, do bani allow us to re-use their hitsounds ?
