ETTV Bug on command map
Hi, I was just watching a CB EC match (d vs. p5, 6on6) when I saw this: http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/637/20070605225715frostbitevd2.th.jpg bug on the command map. It lasted for a few seconds (2-3) maybe, some of the player icons were not moving. If you need it, I have a demo (only client-side ...

Speaking of exploits, I witnessed a particular one some weeks ago. I don't know if it's a well known one or not, but with my limited server setup knowledge I guess you could stop it with flood protection (?). What happened was that some guy very rapidly switched teams for some seconds until the serv...

Follow the steps in the second post with a windows xp OS system and you will connect as a lan client. I tried that but it didn't seem to have an effect. :? Did you mean those steps to be followed independently of what you posted first? Or am I supposed to change my local IP as well? As others menti...

There may be an issue with the bounding box getting set very small with poor connections (like ones that would happen when your upstream/downstream is saturated because no rate limiting is happening), but I've not had time to look in to that. Is bounding box = hitbox? And would that mean that you m...

Reason I was asking is this retard who thought having a "naturally looking" ETPro GUID with a non-hexadecimal symbol in it would be a good idea (and who surprisingly was able to fire a scoped rifle at about the same speed as an SMG).

Letters > F in ETPro GUID -> Spoofed?
Hi,
I just want to be sure about this. YES, I know ETPro GUID's are classified as unreliable. BUT if one contains a non-hexadecimal symbol (like an H), is that a definite proof that the GUID was spoofed?

I guess they're too busy with Quakewars.

I, too, want to support setting b_fixedphysics to 1 (and b_fixedphysicsfps to 125). I'm not sure if the argument I'm bringing forward here has already been mentioned on the other threads discussing the matter, but I'm too lazy to search now. :P The argument really is common sense to me, but maybe no...
