It's a spawnflag, so there's nothing you can do to get rid of it. If they really wanted to though, they could easily make it so only the tank could damage it. There must be reason then, eh?

Yes, shrub had private messaging first. I came from shrub which had it to Banimod at around version .50. So, yeah. Overall, those were two good posts Smokey. Either way, I wish the Mod bashing posts would stop. It's just silly. If they suck, don't use them. They have a feature that the mod you like...

I think what your not understanding here is that the Q3 engine does not support the use of vehicle use. With a mod, it's quite possible to have drivable tanks. You enter the tank, and then all commands (left, right, fowards, shoot) would be processed for the tank instead of the person. I think mzking admins able to change eveything is just bad. Every server will be differrent and that sucks. If admins can turn on /off some fautures thats fine. I heard about kicing grandes away , let that be configarable. I think the mos should focusa on fixing bugs and adding to the game play exp...

IP banning is a waste of time, imho. It's very easy to get new IP addy's in todays broadband world. True but SUBNET takes care of that. :lol: Just with IP banning and guid banning in the same command stops the little buggers from getting a new guid and be back on your server within an hour. :drink:

you can get a new GUID, but you cant forge someone elses (as long as PB is enabled). as long as you dont change your GUID (and why would admins do that?) its not a problem... the semiadmin features will be in both mods. Which is why IP banning as well as GUID with a single BAN command is a good ide...
