well, speaking from experiance sometimes it is *impossible* to hit the person. i remember at radar one time someone stole the parts and they were lagging some kind of bad. we were putting hoards of bullets in his head, but it was proven to be useless... he secured the parts and took probably well ov...

scoped garand/k43 can kill people with 1 shot, you just have to hit them correctly. (from full health) i don't think this is feasable, but while we're at it, i've always been pissed at the allies have the garand and the axis have to k43. i realize it's more realistic, but i feel it makes the axis ha...

Definitely would like to see this in ET Pro. Obviously this won't be used by most admins, but to have it as an option would be great. Really good idea, looking forward to seeing it happen in a future version of ET Pro. i think you would be surprised how many admins actually would use this. it's bee...

Heres another http://olsclan.low-ping.com/user/148/images/Logos/beyonet2.jpg http://407th.lookingat.us/Bayonet1.jpg it does look good... but the player model in the german one isn't an et model... also, i don't know if you're aware, but the nazi sign is illegal in germany, so that might not be the ...

landmine powerdrain

the post earlier about the track switch at rail gun reminded me of something that i intended on posting before and forgot... i could be wrong about this, but i think it takes just as much powerbar to arm a landmine as it does to throw one out there -- not sure if this is intended or not, but i could...

i know what you're talking about -- i can assure you it doesn't happen only when something is moving, because i have planted there and had it eat my landmine at the track switch when there was no one on axis.

nah, overbrightbits isn't the problem, i have same card and i have overbrightbits set to 3 so that i can see ppl in the trees, believe it or not that actually increases FPS, not cause problems, cause there isn't as much work for the shaders, so the result is an increase in fps :? uhmmm, right... bu...

he said he defragmented.... i don't really know anything i could offer in the way of help, but it may be worth mentioning that on certain configs the FPS really get screwy -- if you're not using default config (well, changed options of course, but if you have messed with cg_overbrightbits or any of ...

i hope i'm not out of line by saying this -- but it may be worth noting that on radar you can trick-jump to get on the roof of the axis spawn, and the grass isn't drawn at a distance, so all of this is kindof a lost cause. if i could turn grass off, i surely would -- but i like to play fair. i only ...

yea, i completely agree..... v57 thanks bani for the awesome mod. some things on it i really wish it had and it doesn't, but i understand it is designed for competition -- so i grit my teeth and deal with it, lol. the good by far out-weighs the bad though... multiview is excellent for recruitment of...

this may sound corny and childish, but there has been a very big debate on weather the x-box has better graphics capabilities than the PC or not. they claim that it has a dedicated 800mhz gaming processor, but under further investigation, it isn't truely a special purpose CPU, it can even run a linu...

Alpha on the compass/timers?

i was just wondering how hard it would be to make the compass have alpha. it is the largest thing on the screen... so i think it would help to improve visibility a lot. also, maybe you could add an alpha option for the spawntimer/gametimer, fps meter, and etpro's time feature. these seem to be the o...

text variables

ok, i don't know if i can (or how to) move a post, so i'm making one regarding the other. in the et server admins place i posted something about text variables found here: http://bani.anime.net/banimod/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2030 i found out later that it was actually running ET_Tourneymod 0.90 (or ...
