et maps where do i put them?

ive downloaded these maps and packs and now im wondering where do i put them into ???? im my et folder??

All maps should be placed in your /etmain folder.
As for your "packs" ?
What are they?

with placing maps in there is the whole thing or just like extracting it there???

If your asking should you unzip the .pk3 file. NO
If your talking about a map that's a .zip And has a readme.xxx file+mapname.pk3 NO
All you need is the (mapName.pk3) file.

In that case just Download the .pk3 file to your /etmain folder

okay that confused me

ne way this is an example of one of my maps i downloaded.....

2hide_cal_r1.pk3.zip

that is what is says and usually u would un zip it....
so....?????

if not do i just stick it into my etmain folder??? or do i open it then get certian parts of it out???

Thats you browser settings thats doing that.
The file is a .pk3 file And when you d/L it your browser is saving it as a .pk3.zip
D/L it to your /etmain folder and rename it, so it's just a .pk3 file
IE: just remove the extra ".zip" part

Should work just fine.
You can also try right clicking on the map link and save as...... And it should'nt add the.zip that way.
