Kinda OT, Question about text-effect in some ET-movies.

Hello,

I'm sorry for maybe posting this one in the wrong section.
It's kinda off topic, but I'll ask it anyway.

I was wondering, and looking for a text-effect that has been used for many ET-movies. For an example, the trailer for the movie "A violent day 2".

The thing is, in the text where it says "A violent day 2" it has a pulse of light going through it looking really nice. As I've noticed in readme files for movies that have used this effect. Almost everyone has used Vegas and After Effects.

After Effects is probably the program that has been used. But I can't find it in the program!

Does anyone know how to make this effect and where I can find it?

Adobe After Effects
