Mapscripts - CP volume

Post by McSteve »

Ok, tis the season to be silly. I've put on some daft christmas music on the CPs on my server, problem is its a little quiet. I've seen some examples of volume setting in mapscripts for other sounds, but not for the CP. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

It'd either be a speaker entity in the map, which you could use a mapscript to replace it with a louder one with all the other keys the same. Or on some maps it might be a .sps file (in /sounds/maps/mapname.sps).

If its the .sps, you'd just open the file in notepad and edit the volume.
I think the .sps would need you to make a supplimentry pk3.
