heavy fps drops @ radeon 9800 pro
hi guys,
i got a new gfx card and i am hardly able to play et anymore.
my sys :
win xp pro @ sp 2
athlon xp 2600+
1024 MB DDR Ram
Sapphire Atlantis 9800 pro @ newest Omega Drivers
I just made my system new and checked it for spyware etc. But nothing eliminated the fps drops. I also tried many different gfx drivers like the newest Catalyst drivers, older Catalyst Drivers and older Omega Drivers.
I benchmarked my System with 3dmark03 and got 5600 points which is quite normal for systems like mine.
Even different cfgs ( origin cfg, high-detailed, low-detailed etc...) didnt help me out.
I would appreciate it, if u guys could help me out.
at different spots on the map i even get fps < 30

And yes, I will say it again.
IAM2WEAK4U should learn english and stop spamming. (I appreciate the fact that you do -sometimes- help people out. But still, people have to translate your message to normal english.)
besides i can type english verry well i just need to type slowly

AGP is set to 8x. In BIOS and in the driver settings as well.
BIOS and everything else is cutting-edge.
I tried Service Pack 1, none Service PAck and now Service PAck 2.
The results of cpu-z can be found in the following link
