Looking at ground Randomly

Searched it didnt find anything really, Why does it happen your playing in a server and suddenly you look at the ground, sometimes it happens to everyone on the server at the same time, very annoying, but cant reproduce it.

IIRC, in ETMain 2.55 you could induce this in other players by having a "%" in your name (which shows as a "."). Or maybe it was two %s, I'm not sure. Whenever someone with that name connected or died, other players would have their view jerked straight up at the sky or straight down at the ground.
My memory is fuzzy but start looking there for a possible cause.

u sure this isn't faulty mouse batteries ?
or something sending data on the same frequency ur mouse works?

well, maybe, but I noticed it would happen during firefights. I never thought it was their name causing it!

Defianetly sure, It should be reproducable by printing for example uninitialized sting on hud i think, but it is defianetly not mouse fail

i play with name ^Etnies but iv had it happen with normal names to, its one of those bugs you forget about few mins after happens, but still annoying all the same especially when it gets you killed

If you can reproduce this in the current version of etpro, please give us an example. Privately, since that would be a fairly serious exploit.

sorry i've never seen it in etpro..
however to be more accurate it even send random buttons and moves ( jumping, attack ... ) and not only angles

previously i've had it look up or down and spin 2 or 3 circles, then stops.... I always thought it was either mouse or interference causing it...

isnt it because of players connecting or saying something with special characters like ä and other in there name?

if it is then it'd be reproduceable... try it... (my internet is down atm), but i've never noticed any name correlation
