Wanted: Your matches for public ET TV tests

Want your match broadcasted as part of ET TV beta testing?

Requirements:

your clan match server must be linux, and the server admin must be able to run our supplied ettv.x86 in place of etded.x86.
your clan match server must have a good ping to one of our available broadcast servers.

Available broadcast servers:
69.93.136.70 (Texas, USA)
66.98.208.90 (Texas, USA)
207.44.246.63 (Texas, USA)
66.118.69.158 (West Virginia, USA)
<strike>194.105.226.143 (Iceland, EU)</strike>
<strike>62.173.160.231 (Italy, EU)</strike>

Q: Can you send me ET TV? I want to test it on my server.
A: No. It's not yet ready for release to anyone. We're looking for matches, not beta test admins.

Q: How many viewers will be allowed?
A: Initial tests will likely be small, 50-100 viewers, as we get the software tuned.

Q: Will broadcasts be delayed?
A: Yes. You can choose the delay if you want it synchronized with e.g. a shoutcast.

I'm one of the admins of a new tournament Wolfenstein ExTreme and we would love to see some of the matches, if not all, on ET-TV and i'm sure many would love to tune in and watch some of these clans as we have some big names such as BiO and SoF amongst others.

The servers we run are all linux servers and we would be able to run ettv.x86 instead of etded.x86.

The servers are based in the UK, so the closest ET-TV server would probably be the Italian one i suppose?

Pinging the Italian Server from my location (London, UK) i get the following:

Some of our matches are also being shoutcasted by iTG and so this would tie in nicely with that.

we hold a summer et cup at http://www.et-liga.de.
We would like to broadcast the semifinals/finals.
They should take place in mid/end september...

The Clanbase Summercup would be a good choice! Semifinals are next week and or the www.rtcw.no midnight sun cup where the semifinals are next week aswell.

note: if you want a game broadcasted, it helps to ask a least a day or two in advance. asking mere hours before a game starts is not likely to work.

come on guys, stop it. i got asked to ettv the saevus match just before the match started!

you people have what, weeks of advance scheduling for these matches and you wont give me even 1 day to schedule around it?

if you're planning to ask me on the same day the match takes place, forget it. it isnt going to happen.

if they ask on the day of the match, don't reply to them till after the match is over then say they can

scheduling a broadcast and then cancelling mere minutes before it starts is also a good way to annoy me.

the italian server can no longer be used for ettv, so there are no longer any european ettv servers.
