@gotenks
well for starters there is 'saying US should donate more to africa, whils themselves might as well do it'.
'Saying thar priests and etc cant marry, wich ends up that they are having sex with 13 year old boys, ive not heared the pope get so angry about it....

they did donate to africa... a "considerable" ammount...
the priest thing was not avoidable by the pope, in anything with that many people it's impossible for him to control... But the priests have been prosecuted, and the cardinal has been relocated (that was incharge of the area)... there's also some corruption in the church, but it's again impossible to completely avoid this. The pope has done HIS job to the best any MAN can do... yes there are things he could have done differently, but i don't know anyone who could have done as much as good as him...

some notes on his behavior:
he NEVER complained, even if his food was cold and service was poor (probably rarity), even about his life with Parkinsons and other ailments

he prayed for 8+hrs a day... and on what he prayed about is amazing... he prayed on allmost EVERY letter he recieved asking him to pray for them... eg. someone's family member is suffering, they'd write the pope, he'd pray

priests not being able to marry would have been easy for him to change, BUT it was against his beliefs... AND that would NOT have stopped the molestation.

That was uncalled for and childish...
Not to mention the preceding was a sad attempt of lying your way out of a tough spot.

your message was mean and denigrating, you could have pointed out my mistake in a friendly way, cause i indeed made a mistake. I said i admnitted it so it was not an attempt of getting my way out of a tough spot. Escpecially since there is not one. But your reaction was harsh and i dont feel the need to discuss it, wich lead to my reaction.I just lowered myself to your level. but appartanlty none seem to find your remark childish and all did find mine . I say its both. This only showes how ignorant people can get when you are only trying to discuss something, apparantly i dont have the right to think things differently.

@gotenks, m8 i never said it was avoidable, and i dont blame the pope for that it happened i only said that i didnt hear the pope so much about it. He should have condemned/judge it and let the whole world that that is not w0t the church is therefor. I did not saw that happening. Further i never mentioned anything about his behaviour. He was in that way a gr8 man for never complaining. All i did was mentioning the bad sides of the church, and in the end the pope is responsable for that. That does not mean he is a monster. If mcdonalds lets indonesian kids work the fingers off for 5 cent per minute, you dont blame the dude on indonesia (of mcdonalds) you blame the CEO. Same here. I'd like to leave it at this cause appart from gotenks there is no discission possible, and gotenks last remark sure doesnt proof his mature behaviour.

1. propper action was taken by the church... although i agree the arch cardinal who was incharge should have had more punishment, since he wasn't directly involved with it they just relocated him
2. i made that remark because of your previous remark... mine wasn't that childish, but this is obviously getting too heated and imho should be locked before it goes too much further downward

my point is that the pope was one of the greatest leaders and remarks like "he indirectly lead to the killing..." is unbelieveably naive and unjustifiable

also how is pointing out 1 of your MANY illogical statements based on non-facts offending/attacking you?
