Does GUID change?

Does GUID change by itself?
Is there a way to change it?

i take it you mean etpro guid? that they're trying to make static as possible, but the pb guid is changeable

whats the difference between etpro and pb guids?
and when i type /guids does it show the pb or etpro guids?
and why do they change anyway?

dont take my word for it but

indirectly it has one

etkey is an auto generated file that contain a key which wouldve been the cdkey if the expansion was released

i think.. can someone confim/back this up?

not sre about they key but the point is etpro had static guids based on hardware so it doesnt chanche

currently doing a /players or a /guid (i believe) brings up your pb guid, which is based on the auto generated cdkey that comes with et...

/players doesn't show ANY guids.

No, etpro guids should only change if some hardware is changed.
PB guid will change when you reinstall if you don't save the etkey file.

here:

Two pics...taken same day..couple hours apart...i posted at TWL but got flamed and dropped it...why are they different? Sry about the fact that the pic is up and right...i used photoshop in a hury and didn't even make other layers...just stuck black over and by accident moved it up.
