Is the beta version avaible to the public? Because I am really interested in trying out these new hitboxes with some friends on a private server. If it is, where can i download it?

Not that Im aware of. I think they want to avoid the whole 3 to 5 different version floating around on servers.

3.1.6 would probably be a beta test for the eventual "official" release of 3.2

I think i was getting around 1.5-2 hs per kill in my overall stats, which is much higher than i normally get on good servers.

Maybe the head hit box needs to be reduced in size now? Well, honestly, if people can get a +.5 hs/kill increase (or whatever significant increase) then the game will get a different feel to it.

I got a hold of the 3.1.6 pk3 from the et center box servers. So with this pk3 file, would i be able to make my own private server and check out the new stuff or do you need more than just the ok3 file in order to make a 3.1.6 server?

You need the qagame_mp_x86.dll as well. It isn't usually in the .pk3
