No Hitsounds in old 2.60 demos? *SOLVED*

Post by Smoke »

PROBLEM SOLVED

I normally play with the 2.60b patch, but if I want to watch older demos, I'd have to first run a 2.60 revert installer, then copy cgame_mp_x86.dll and ui_mp_x86.dll from a pre-ETPro 3.2.6 PK3 file into the ETPro folder, THEN start the demo ...

But there are no hitsounds. I got it turned on.

Is there a remedy?

When I say "old" demos, I mean for example 2.60 with ETPRo 3.2.0 -- nothing ancient like ETPro 2.0.7. :)

You have been fooled by someone.
There is no 3.6.0

I fooled myself. I meant 3.2.6. I'll revise it.

Possibly, but I get an "INCORRECT VERSION" message popping up in ET.

I still got the problem, but I noticed that it only occurs when I use Seismovision -- the latest version. Strange. I suppose this is the wrong board for this then.

UPDATE: I just installed a AVA update (s3_rtcwet_260b_ava.exe) from the Seismovision website, and the problem is now fixed.

I had the latest version of SEISMOVISION -- the program -- but didn't have the AVA-update.
